Upgrade

Only customers currently in Support and Maintenance status are eligible for the upgrade. There may be a fee for upgrades—even if the customer was entitled to them before upgrading.

Subscription billing

Multi-year subscriptions with upfront payments include all years under a single SKU. The customer commits to paying in advance for the entire contract period. A multi-year subscription billed annually requires all annual options to be purchased together at the initial order.

Prepaid

Prepaid discount SKUs can be purchased within the first six months of the original new license acquisition. After this period, a standard annual renewal SKU must be purchased.

Late fee

Overdue support renewals will incur a 25% reinstatement fee. Fees are included in expired renewal SKUs and are necessary to renew agreements that expired at the time of purchase. Expired free license SKUs can only be used after approval from Veeam.
